I was being asked for paperwork for my loan days before my closing after I was told they had everything the previous week. My real estate agent kept complaining about lack of effort and responsiveness by my loan officer. These delays and a VA company function caused my closing to be pushed from Friday to Monday resulting in adjustments of utilities and movers and spending 260 more dollars for another two nights at the hotel. This could have been avoided if the paperwork was asked for and solidified earlier
