I dont think that there is much that could be done to make the process any easier.
Our experience was wonderful and we have no complaints. We really cannot say enough great things about our loan officer and everyone we worked with.

I wouldnt change anything with VU. The personnel that we dealt with were prompt and professional. Everything happened expeditiously (sometimes more than I expected, good thing) and efficiently.
Get the underwriter on the same page as the loan officer.
i had a really great experiance, we had constant communication which made things much easier.

The only improvement I would recommend is to help military and vets with expedient services if they have to re-deploy so closings can be done faster if all paperworks and informations are in order.
I can't think of a way for improvement. Winsor was excellent at everything we did. I hesitated to refinance because of the hassle involved with paperwork and problems. Winsor made it simple. No hassle, no problems. Extremely pleased with the process and the results.

In my opinion and with regard to my individual situation, there is no need to change anything regarding the procurement of a home loan through VUHL.
Can't think of anything different that needs to be done!

Not a bad experience at all
The only thing that was disappointing about our experience was we had been told we were at 3.25% and by the time we got to closing it was 3.75%, which doesn't sound bad, and is still a good rate, but we were under the impression we were locked in at 3.25%. We were very happy with that rate. Our representatives were great and very patient with us. I would ask for Todd and Ben anytime I need a loan.
The only problems I had were from the underwriters, which I understand is a byproduct of the tighter lending standards due to the housing crash. That said, I had to send the underwriters documents multiple times, and write letters of explanation multiple times. Cory Chew helped it all get done though.
If its not broke, don't fix it!
Better review of final papers went taking to customer for final sighing. We had some other persons papers in our packet and it delayed our closing a little, and was worried about pay off being lake.
I am very happy with both my mtg. Company and my loan officer.
