I have copy and pasted the email correspondence as we forwarded our bad experience with Matt McDaniel to Keegan and Brett Peters. Keegan & Brett were helpful, professional advocates and represent your company well! this loan officer in Texas. I am horribly disappointed that we received our package and the go ahead with this process to find out today that Lisa's credit score is not high enough it needs to be 660 per company policy for Texas and that Matt was going to charge origination fees approx 3000. We found Keegan info our original loan officer with this company and he's the one that set it all straight? Matt reports making a clerical error with the credit score and I guess his 3000 in extra fees was also an error. If you could assist us I would appreciate it as of now were completely pissed off with the whole process. If you could let us know his bosses information I think he needs to be reported for such actions. From: Matt McDaniel Date: March 14, 2013, 5:28:11 PM CDTTo: "icanbuildit77@yahoo.com" Subject: Mitchell RefinanceHi Rodney,See the attached credit analyzer. As I stated we did make a clerical mistake because we do need a 660 mid for both you and Melissa.Rodney, your score is good; but we are just off the mark with a 657 mid score for Melissa. Her scores are as follows:Experian: 640 Transunion: 657 Equifax: 699The attached document is showing that the least expensive option would be to get the Chase acct for Melissa paid down to $7,825.I am not sure if that is an option for you; but if so, then we could do a rapid rescore on your credit once this is done (3-5 days) we can move forward into underwriting. If you would like, I would be happy to get your file in front of another lender that likely would not require the 660 mid score and MAYBE no appraisal.Again, I apologize for the confusion and this mistake.Shoot me back an email or call me to discuss. Thanks,

I understand the need for a loan officer and an assistant' however, it seems at many times during the process that they were not on the same page. For example, the assistant would call or email me requesting documents and I would immediately get those turned in and a few days later the loan officer is calling me saying that I needed to get those items in. I'm guessing not realizing that i had already turned them in previously. I just think that there needs to be better communication between the two.
Last minute paperwork is always unnerving. Derek did a great job working a first time home buyer through the process.
Your staff was outstanding, very responsive. John Lucas and Kris Maple really worked hard to get this through. We had several hundred pages of faxes back and forth. My file on this loan is over 6 inched thick. It did take over 900 days to get the loan. I began in September 2010. Mine was somewhat complicated but we did succeed. Your underwriters were a real pain. Because we have several rental properties and mortgages against them, it seemed to really hold up things.
