I did not enjoy my loan experience simply because it took almost a year for the house loan to be approved and accepted by the banks. I don't think this was the fault of VA Loans, so I would recommend services to others. I think it would have been nice however to have more communication with my loan officer during the period of time that we has not had any progress on the loan, a simple phone call to let us know we were not forgotten and everyone is doing all they can.
Get more information upfront for the requirements of VA so the buyer isn't left in the dark when it gets close to closing time.
I had a difficult time communicating with my loan officer, my realtor did too. Toward the end he came through and was available when I needed him.
