i found my house but she was great with the paperwork. i was an easy client. i knew exactly what i wanted and what conditions i would settle on. i like her. she was nice. i felt i got the best deal possible and i love the house.

I have bought homes before and worked with different lenders. By far this team stands out the most as the best team that I have ever worked with on a home loan. They only problem that was very frustrating for us was that we had to keep sending information that we already sent. We started in pre approval and when we finally were switched over to final approval we were asked to send all the same info again and sometimes even a third time. This was the most stressful of all. We realize that buying a house ( from everyone else that we talked to ) is a lot of paper work and extra info but maybe a little more organization on your end would help very much. Over all we had a great experience and we worked very hard to get to this point. Your teams were very helpful in directing us to the final closing. Now we own a home and it feels GREAT! Just one more thing. When working with people of a certain age you may want to consider more instructions in creating PDF's and resubmitting things over the computer. For us ( in our mid 50's ) this was VERY stressful.

Mistakes were made processing the loan that further delayed the closing date. Management didn't offer a reduced fee much like a restaurant would after bad service until the home buyer suggested a reduced payment.
overall it was good experience getting a loan although I have never had a house loan before but towards the end there are things that could have been done differently on the VA end- I am a very organized person and I had previously asked if there is anything or any documents I could finish/get ahead of time to make the closing as easy and stress free as possible but of course the week of I was getting emails stating I needed all these documents yet that could have easily been obtained much earlier. I also would get an email at 430pm on a friday stating I needed a document by monday am in order to close on our planned date- well being the weekend and most offices are closed its a bit late notice to send an email like that and I had other items I was told I needed with a less than 24 hour notice to get them which is not always easy, but needless to say it all worked out in the end but it could have gone smoother in my opinion.
My second realtor Jonell Kieltyka was fantastic, she was very kind, considerate,knowledgable, patient, and professional. I would not hesitate to refer anyone to her.
On the other hand, my first realtor Steve Wittrock, was very knowledgable but was short tempered, impatient with us the customer. I felt like he was more representing the seller and not us the buyer to the point were he was fed up with us because we had a bad feeling on a counter offer for a house and he got upset be cause we did not like the terms at that time I felt like he was an upset salesman not getting his deal. This is when I requested another realator and got Jonell. I have to admit, the realator that works with Steve, Kelly Plaster, did most of the footwork and showed most of the homes from that team. We did not have any problems with him.

I was not walked through the process very well. I had no idea about anything when it came to a loan or home buying. No one explained to me about underwriting or how long it would take to close on a loan after we got all the documents together. They scheduled the closing before we could have ever closed and then got mad at me when we had to move the closing cost. Most of the time I felt like they either had never worked with the military before and then were working with the sellers because they would become very frustrated with me, yet they were supposed to be on my side and representing me. I'm glad to be done with this process not only because I won't have to deal with this any more! I'm not sure if I will go with the veterans united the next time I decide to sell and purchase my house.
I personnally would like to thank Jackie Barton, Chris Holdman and Dawn Plank for guiding me through the process and helping me acheive a goal i once thought was unattainable. Their expertise and knowledge has truly been the definition of customer service in making homeownership a pleasant experience and I couldn't have ask for anything more.
