As a first time homebuyer Veterans United guided us through every step of the process. Nothing was shrouded in mystery and nothing felt like a "gotcha scheme" with any hidden agenda. My Loan Team really fought to save me money in every avenue of the process. I couldn't recommend a better company to buy a home through.
A lot of things happened that delayed our process. From the appraisal forward I was dropped information and items the needed to be completed which I was unaware of as well as the loan team. I guess it’s good thing I was a learning experience for the team but I will not recommend using veterans United and I will never be using veterans United for another home buying opportunity.

Owning a home has been a life long dream and goal. Being in the military, moving from duty station to duty station for so long. I always rented or lived on base. After the military disable me and retired me with 24 years I decided to work towards fulfilling that dream. When my wife died I stopped but now I decided to finally stop paying someone else's mortgage and pay for my own home. It finally is a reality. I get emotional thinking that now my children will always have someplace to come home to when life gets to hard or for special days like holidays. I hope you get what I am saying. I look up to heaven and know that my wife knows exactly where to come find her family.
