Shelon Turek and his team were phenomenal! They were available to answer any questions all throughout the process. Anything that I was uncomfortable with or needed assistance with was met with patience, knowledge, and understanding.
They were great on top of things and Derek was very knowledgeable and took time to call back and answer my questions.
They asked for the same information over and over again causing extreme stress to an already stressful process. Some of the staff supporting us were very helpful, others would not return our calls and appeared to be very disorganized. This led to our having little confidence in the organization.If we had any choice, I would have changed lenders, but we would have lost the house we were trying to purchase, so we were stuck

Being asked for the same information multiple times and not getting timely responses would be frustrating for anyone, and I understand how that could lead to a loss of confidence.

We are very grateful for Trish Cole! She came in at time where everyone else we had tried had failed us. Therefore, we were really apprehensive about trying another company but once we met Trish she eased our fears. My husband is a retired Army Soldier, who suffers from P.T.S.D. and just about any episode can set him off. However, everything about our home buying process went smoothly. I love the fact that you have a secure portal to place all of your documents in versus putting it in an email. This is what sets Veterans United apart from the rest. Veterans United made the home buying process for us first time home buyers very easy! They helped us with everything along the way, including setting us up with a realtor in the area we were looking in! They stayed on top of everything and made sure that we were prepared for everything along the way! I love how everything can be done online, the to-do list made things so much easier for me, being able to see what still needs to be done and what has been completed in such a user-friendly fashion. I don’t have any other company to compare them to, but we had such a great experience that I’m sure if we ever buy another home, Veteran’s United will have our business again!

I would give it a 10, but there was quite a bit of back-and-forth due to the underwriters demands. Notwithstanding, my loan officer, Kapil, did his level best to run interference and was able to make everything work.
