I’ve been conditioned my whole life to fear the home buying process and years I’ve mentally prepared myself to accept the inevitable gray hairs from the stress it brings.I clicked on the Veterans United mortgage calculator advertisement on a whim when viewing the real estate posting of the dream house my wife and I have walked our dog past for years. I was at work and didn’t have all of the information, so I thought I’d check it out later.Not 15 minutes later, I get a call from Brie letting me know that she’d seen my inquiry and asked if I wanted to continue. Next thing I know, I’ve got a team of three people on the line gathering information from me to see what I qualify for and get the ball rolling.Next thing I know, I’m qualified for more than the asking price and my team is making phone calls on my behalf to get this car in gear.I kid you not, this was one of the easiest things I’ve done in my life. In total, I gathered a few documents, took a few phone calls a day, and participated in a short-lived bidding war on our dream home. There were times that I would get a little worried because it felt like I wasn’t doing enough compared to what I thought the home buying process was like. But no, my team actually took care of everything for us.I cannot recommend Veterans United and my home loan team enough to anyone and everyone that will listen. I’m more than grateful and I look forward to working with them again down the road for my next house purchase.

JB was absolutely awesome! I didn't have a typical or straight forward scenario in my opinion. Which led to many in depth questions on my part and because of JB's responsiveness, experience, and guidance we were able to make timely decisions that were executed successfully without hitch, which is saying a lot for how involved a home buying process is. For such a big investment that most people only go through a few times in their lives, I really appreciated having JB and his team helping us along the way!I would highly recommend JB for your home buying process, and if I ever were to buy another property I guarantee JB is the first person I will reach out to.

Great team to work with always in clear communication on what’s going on and what needs to be done
Team neglected to lock in our interest rate. When it rose by.5% and they realized the mistake, they initially made excuses before finally owning up to the mistake. We were comped to get the rate back down which was appreciated.
A general power of attorney was attempted to be used though we had one provided by the attorney‘s office that we knew would work. This slowed down the final process
There was a general lack of communication through out the process that made us feel like we weren’t cared for.
When we had questions about forms to sign and how to fill things out, the team gave us bad information that caused us to have to redo forms at the last minute on or right before our closing day.
Both our Attorney and Realtor felt the effects of the team’s poor communication and general lack of knowledge, having both made comments to us in the sense of “what is going on?” to which our only reply was “ we don’t know”We would have a hard time recommending Veteran’s United to anyone after this whole process
