I have to say having a wonderful VA lender is so important and VU delivered a great experience. I know that who you get assigned to as your loan officer can cause variation in your experience (which results you see reflected in some reviews) , however, we had a pretty smooth experience. Our loan officer Kelsey Riggs really knocked it out the park and made everything easy. Plus she made it feel more like she was a mentor and guide versus simply a business transaction. I love the online portal where you can upload documents and options to link financial accounts for ease (though we had a few glitches). If there is one thing I would say is as any financial transaction, please be sure to gather paperwork and documents early. There is a lot of paperwork involved, but relatively normal considering. Overall, 5 star experience. Would use them again no hesitation! Receive a great rate and amazing service! Thank you Kelsey and Veteran United for guiding me through what could have been a nightmare to the dream of home ownership!!
