This is the third home I've purchased in my life, and this was by far the easiest. Like I said above, I really like the website to where I could log in an see my ToDos, and my documents.
As a first time homeowner this process was stress free for me. Honestly just amazing.
First time buyers will have everything they need through veterans United. All the resources and personnel that provide you with great customer service and ensure all your needs are meet and questions answered. Would definitely use them again for future purchases.
Semi-professional and personal approach to providing you a loan. If you want to buy a house I'm sure they will help you achieve that goal, but only after you submit endless amounts of paperwork to appease an overzealous underwriter on a nearly daily basis. Convoluted paperwork is sure to leave you feeling confused and pondering how on earth your loan cost so much money. If you've never had doubts about your chosen career field before, you certainly will after you deal with a guy/gal (your loan officer) who is going to get paid a lot of money if you simply borrow money from him/her. Recommend you simply go to your trusty bank that you have worked with for years and give them your business. Relationships matter, and if you haven't used VU before, today probably should be the day you decide to give them your hard earned money for the next 15-30 years.

I am a former U.S. Marine and Desert Storrm Veteran I spent many years acclimating to the many challenges of reunification of being a civilian. I spent much time and effort in acquiring my College degrees and many more years s working in a high stressed and deeply demanding social services profession. I had a sincere yearning to save ample funds to allow my lovely wife and I to achieve the goal of being a home owner. Please allow me to be candid ,the total experience with acquiring a loan via Veterans United was initially seemed quite a daunting challenges without any guarantee we'd be qualified to purchase our first home, However I am more than excited and pleased to share our experience., Our Loan team was comprised of staff from Veterans United San Diego, Ca Robert Meyer, Melody Tice and,especially Jason Gibson. Each ember played an integral role and responsibility that led to us closing on a lovely craftsman home on 08/05/2019. Dreams to come true with due diligence, patience and allowing oneself to trust in people. This team had warm humor, timeliness in returning calls and provided several options to learn about the home loan processes. The Marine Corps has our motto Semper Fidelis and also espirti de corps ,which is the history and determination to be faithful and true with the highest of integrity and honor. is team went far beyond and made our dream to come true. If you are eligible for a VA loan you will NOT go wrong using Nathan Jackson. Hands down the best loan specialist I have ever worked with. I attempted using a local company back in 2015. It was a nightmare! I got tired of the crap and called Nathan. He had me approved in 5 minutes or less. When the other company couldn't.This time around it was a time-sensitive and unforeseen move on my part. Nathan had the ball rolling on a weekend when he should have been off. Overall it was very smooth. I didn’t even have to goInto their office. I did everything online. I was moving across the country. Meghan did a great job at the Tampa Florida location. I would definitely recommend y’all using her and them for you loan needs.
