It would be nice for VU to partner with organizations that help pay the closing costs for military families. Since VU does not have agents I would suggest looking into partnering with companies and using their preferred agents so that homebuyers have that added benefit.

Veterans United helped me navigate my first home buying experience with ease. They were, at all times, very professional and courteous. The team assigned to me was easy to reach and kept me up to date on where the process was throughout the entirety of it from initial offer to closing.
I would not recommend veterans United home loans to any future candidates. They wear a facade for most interactions and are manipulative. When confronted about unknown charges on the loan estimate, we were provided with vague descriptions. Good luck to any future home buyers that undertake the task of working with unempathetic and an uncaring company.

Steve did an outstanding job guiding us through the home buying process. This was our first experience using the VA loan and Steve made everything as easy as possible from pre-approval to closing, especially given the fact we were assigned overseas throughout the whole process.
