Tanner Smith and Donna Roof put a lot of effort on assisting me in any way possible. My home buying experience was the best experience I could have gone through with the help I had from them. Without them I could not say that I am a home owner. It is true what they say about letting you sit back, relax and don't stress over a home purchase through the veterans home United.
Our process started about February 16th and we closed April 9th with few to no snags. Being a first time buyer the videos were of great help knowing what to expect. The website is very easy to use! Tina was always available to me or my realtor even on the weekends. Beth was just as helpful, encouraging and available. I could not have had a better team working and guiding from pre-approval to closing. (One final though: if you are not great with math/numbers like me, I would suggest a friend or family member to overlook the sources from where your final closing figures are coming from.) Other than that, it was smooth sailing!! Thank you team! We own a home!
Near the end of the home buying experience, it felt like there was a disconnect between ourselves, the closing agency and the loan specialist.
If you have a question, they will answer it. They don’t beat around the bush and give half answers. I live on the east coast so it was nice that I could conduct business with VU later in the day being that they are from the Midwest.
