My initial experience with VU was positive. VU was very responsive after I made a request for more information. Craig was assigned my file and Ian, Craig, and I worked together to get all of the required paperwork completed and added to my file. Craig was very responsive and knowledgeable, answering any and all of my questions. However, about a week before closing I started to get requests for information from several people other than Craig. I spoke with Craig and requested that I continue to work only with him. However, I continued to get requests for information I had already provided. The day before closing I was contacted by Rain Mitchell to go over my closing documents. More than a month prior Craig and I had discussed buying down my loan. When Craig left for vacation and handed my paperwork off to Rain that information was lost in translation. I explained to Rain what needed to happen, she assured me it would be taken care of and that it would not impact closing the next day. However, at closing the documents were still incorrect and it took hours for Rain to get the title company the correct paperwork.

We'd heard from many people that butting a home was a headache. Mike Lyman made this experience an absolute blessing.
