We were not at a satisfactory credit level at first. But, through the help of Veteran's United and their Lighthouse Program we were able to close 6 months later.
Find appraisers that are competent. The appraiser we had took over two weeks from the initial appraiser to get a report back. This was after it was determined that he was 350 sq ft off. Then it took another week or so to get finished.
I would highly recommend Tonya Dawson to anyone who is inquiring about a VA Home Loan. She is understandable and knows how to treat a client well.
