to much red tape
The biggest problem I had with the process was not getting the final number I needed for closing until after my closing appt had already started. Given the fact I bank with USAA and do not have physical bank to go to made it very stressful.

Not any fault of my loan specialist, there was an awful lot of required documents needed. More so then with a conventional home loan. However; the outcome supports the veteran and protects us with those documents during the close.
