when my wife and I moved into our apartment 2 years ago we had a plan of moving out of there and buying a home. I knew I had some things on my credit they needed taking care of. So one day I was sitting in a restaurant by myself and I was on Facebook and I saw a veteran's United advertisement. So I said what the heck let me apply just see.so 15 minutes after I filled out the application I received the phone call from an agent and he went over my application, she informed me that I was denied but don't worry you can refer me to the lighthouse program which would help me look on my credit to obtain a home loan. So later that day I received a phone call from A lighthouse representative. She advised me what I needed to do and I did it 7 months later my credit score went up from 535 to 650 which qualified me for my home loan.the next day I received a call for Chris Hill and he started the loan process for me and from this point on he guided me through the whole process along with Carl Thomasand they bothdid an awesome job. we are now in our dream home and experience was awesome

First of all, we would like to thank God for being so kind in helping turn our dream into reality. Also, we would like to apologize to you for the slight delay in answering your e-mail. Actually, we were busy packing our belongings while anxiously awaiting for the green light from the title company. At any rate, we are all ecstatic, most especially our kids. We have you and the entire staff of Veterans United family to thank for. What a Happy New Year, indeed.

In hindsight, it was certainly a wild and crazy ride of seemingly endless paperworks and boatload of documents to comply but we were both up to the challenge. Sydney, you are truly amazing and a consummate professional. You knew full well that we didn't have a real estate agent to help prepare and comply with required documents but it did not seem to faze you at all. Sure it was frustrating at times but certainly a great learning experience for me and my wife. You were with us every step of the way. You are truly amazing!

Last but not least, we strongly believe that it is very important for your upper bosses to realize what an asset you are to the company and well worth every damn penny you're getting paid and we sincerely mean it. Or maybe we are just echoing what upper management at the Veterans United already know.

We will certainly keep you in mind and won't hesitate to tell our friends or those who might be in need of real estate transaction in the future.

Please review the appraisal follow up process, I paid the fee, but the appraisal took close to a month to get completed. Also, inform customers who are the other people/teams involved in process, underwriters,etc and what they do. It seemed that paperwork had to be resubmitted frequently because someone else reviewed it. Also recommend specialists look closer at property info, our loan was delayed at least two weeks because of well testing that should have been done, even though the property description indicated that this rural home had well water.
