Was a painless and smoothe process
Veterans United was outstanding in there service, communication and clarity from the very first time I expressed interest in a home loan. From teaching me the basics to helping me close on a home while overseas, they did an OUTSTANDING job!
There are only 2 issues that made this a less than perfect experience. One, there was a slight delay in my appraisal. Second, my original loan officer left the job just before closing. Overall, however, I was very pleased with VU.

The appraisal report was just a little slow and ran uncomfortably close to the closing.

We had to provide unnecessary paperwork to underwriter several times which could have been common sense as to why a credit report was ran for example setting up utilities for new home and why deposits all of a sudden in bank accounts (ie Payday)
