I would recommend that the loan officer in charge of the clients file stay in contact with the client. In my case I had to constantly contact the loan officer to get updates. This was very concerning as the process got closer to closing. I would also recommend that VUHL implement a best practices plan to avoid giving a loan officer to many clients or contracts to work.
Our Loan Officer was very unprofessional and would not take any responsibility for any of his mistakes. He would blame someone else for issues that he was solely responsible for during the process. I would not have him represent any of my fellow military personnel. I have a collection of the very unprofessional emails should you care to review them.
