Steve was great to work with. He was very honest and upfront with what was needed. My previous loan specialist, Cory, before being placed with Steve was not as upfront on everything and definitely not as good about responding to emails and phone calls in a timely manner. I trusted Steve when he said he was going to get something done on a certain day, but had a problem with Cory on that aspect. In order to help future military members I think it is important to employ people at VUHL that are efficient and honest with their clients/customers.
During the Underwriting process, have a one time, simple, concise, and straigt forward list of required documents. Allow the lender to speak directly to the underwriter so that there will be no "middle man" and explinations of finances won't get lost in translation
