My experience with VU was exceptional from beginning to end. Other than the short delay of the VA condo approval, everything went well and I would definitely recommend VU to any veteran that's looking for a home loan.

We were initially told the real estate agent we were assigned to was knowledgeable when it came to VA loans. This was not the case..even though someone at the agency was able to help, we could never get answers to questions about the VA loan process directly from our agent. Perhaps, in the future, this should be clarified.

When I started with Veterans United in early 2014, I stated with the Lighthouse program to get my credit scores where they needed to be and was assigned Jake Frogge. He was incredible and I did exactly as he recommended and my credit scores were exactly where they needed to be exactly when Jake said they would be there. He was amazing. I then started working with Leanna Moss and the level of customer service from her was like no other customer service I have ever received. She made the home buying process very enjoyable and he entire process was a well oiled machine. I think the team we had with the purchase of my home is one to be modeled after. I miss working with her already. Thank you very much. If Veterans United needs someone to teach and instruct other loan officers how to be the absolute best at what they do, just turn to Leanna.

I cannot imagine not having Ben help us through the process of buying our home. He was knowledgable, helpful, & made me feel as though I had a true advocate who wanted my family to have a smooth time navigating the purchase of our home. He did a great job & went the extra mile for us a number of times. I'm very grateful for Veterans United and Ben Long specifically.

My real estate agent Mr. D.R Couch was very professional and courteous every time we spoke. I told him what I wanted and he got it for me. Everyone on the VA team was on point and I couldn't have done it without them. I am truly thankful and glad there is such a company that cares about their customers.

I found the process satisfactory overall...I have a nice home for a fairly low monthly mortgage rate, so I am pleased about that. But the communication process between the loan officer and the client could have been clearer and more consistent. My advice loan officers at your company is to slow down, speak plain english, and get your story straight sometime before twenty minutes before you submit the loan papers to the underwriter.

WOW... Where to start?
Our 1st rep was outstanding His name was Blake.
Derek is is flipping nightmare. He asked for documents that he already had, did not return calls/emails in a timely manner. Infact we missed the closing day because Derek did not read his emails and take action on a 'last minute' issue. Even after the closing date had passed, he was asking for '1 more thing'.
You do not know how close you were to losing this loan. Even tho this is my VA loan, I was made to feel like I was not important, nor should I have had any input,.

The team of Meredith Carroll and Nicole Bridgeman was outstanding in communications, helpfulness, and their professionalism. I know that my case was an easy case to get through. I also know to go from submission to "clear to close" in 14 days had to have them working really hard.

I would like to commend them on a job well done. Great experience and will definitely recommend Meredith and Veterans United Home Loans again.

I was a little worried at first with using a lender that was remote and only being able to communicate over the phone, email or snail mail but with this being my 3rd home purchase I can honestly say that my experience with Veteran's Unites and Craig and his team was the best ever. We got the "OK to close" in 34 days, everything went smoothly, Craig and his team were sharp, on par with required documents and was always kind and considerate. I couldn't ask for a better experience and will always recommend them to others looking to purchase a home.

My lender, Brandan Hines, was exceptional! Before Veteran United I wasn't given the time or day by other lenders and losing hope-until I came to Veteran United. Brandan was amazing, he took the time, broke things down and made this very stressful experience easy to take on. I truly appreciate all the time he took to answer ALL my hundreds of questions and the alternatives to reorganize what I already had to effectively work out in my favor. Brandan was a true advocate for what was best for me. If all the lenders at Veteran United are like Brandan, I would and will refer family and friends to this organization.
