Jessica Fischer was simply wonderful to work with during the long months it took to find the right home. She was curtious and professional. Her knowlege was very impressive and always made us feel that we had someone in our corner during the entire buying process. Thanks Jessica you're awesome!

The process is pretty good, the only improvement I have at this time is that the paperwork requested should be exact in order to prevent being asked for more paperwork.

I would suggest a process to help veterans that may have marginal credit get the counseling to recover and qualify for a home purchase.

I think if VUHL would give a better finance rate you would likely get more business. And they need to expedite thing quicker and not drag their feet as they did with us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Our Loan Officer, Barby Wulff, extended her professional commitment to us above and beyond what we anticipated. Barby sought many needed answers to address our specific situation, championed success with each obstacle and stayed right with us until she 'got the job done'. How can you improve that?

The level of detail regarding applicants to verify employment history drives anxiety. If a W2, tax forms, and employment verification are provided why isn't that enough?

My loan took 5 months to close. But, I fell good, it works out for the better, the interest rate went down on closing. Thank you Mr.Brady for your help big time. In my unique situation, I appreciate for sticking with me.

VUHL needs to listen more to their loan officers and not rely as much on protocol for a loan program to be complete from application to funding. Barby Wulff was amazing from the first day of the 18-month long saga. I cannot say much of the same for the underwriting staff nor the remaining members at VUHL. Barby and her subordinates are the reason that the loan closed after a year and a half of nightmare-ridden issues. VUHL also needs to work closer with the VA Administation to take care of the veterans applying for the loan. We contacted the VA directly and were treated horribly by their representative. In summary, VUHL could benefit by utilizing Barby's abilities to train other up and coming loan officers. In addition, the Underwriting team's competence level should be severly scrutinized.

The free homeowners insurance quote is a joke- over $100/month vs USAA for better insurance!!! Don't do that to veterans. Also memos to verify "xyz" are almost impossible to get from any commander- give us more time and understand that a couple day turn around is normal. Have your underwriters know this and let's use some common sense about bah rates- it's an entitlement. It's guaranteed. All families and all officers of any pay grade get it, please teach the civilians who work for you all this to make things less stressful. Overall hold onto Mason and Justin; they're professional, and very patient men :)
