Perhaps this is unfair to say and I didn't hold it in too high regard because I didn't work with her much, but Katie had a reputation with my escrow co, agent and I for not being very quick to respond to emails and we all agreed that she never answered the phone. One very small issue that came up happened to be an embarrassing one for me. The question came up about my divorce and I answered that I had been divorced before. In fact, I have been divorced twice and that part pushed our timeline slightly because it required additional paperwork that tool time to get. Perhaps it would be helpful to change the wording on the application slightly; perhaps, "list all divorces" or some other rendition of that.
I feel as if there was not a whole lot of communication to me as the home buyer, I was finding things out via my employer and realtor instead of them coming directly to me with the issues they had. I think it would be more efficient if they explained things in more detail to the home buyer and constantly kept them updated, going three weeks before finding something out is not acceptable. Overall, I would recommend them to family or friends. They do strive to help veterans and their families, and I believe that is extremely important.

Make the inspection process a little less teedious. I the case of the house we just purchased, we spent a lot of time trying to get something passed (the Well) just because the realitor forgot to put it on the paperwork.
