We decided to switch to VU with only 2 weeks until close. Mike not only got us a better interest rate and more than double back at closing than our previous lender would have, but Mike did an amazing job getting us through the process in time to close. Mike really knew what he was talking about as he walked us through what needed to happen after the loan assumption of our previous house to be able to close on the new one same day. He went above and beyond to work with our previous mortgage company, our new home builder and the VA to make sure he had everything we needed to close on the new house the same day. There ended up being a delay in our buyers closing which really shortened our window to be able to get documents to the VA to get an updated COE. Mike continued to call and work with the VA to get it done. On the last Friday of the month, and the first leading into a holiday weekend, at 4:30 pm, we were notified that everything had gone through and our new house had been funded. We can’t say enough great things about Mike.
Veterans United has made the home buying experience very easy. You just give them the requested/required information and they take care of it all. Easy "to do" lists in my account make this process so simple. Just do your part and VU will do the rest.

I cannot sing the praises for Veterans United loud enough! My whole process was a nightmare when it came to the sellers. My loan team did an amazing job of not only doing the work that they are supposed to do, but also coaching me through my first home buying process. They also went above and beyond to calm my nerves and explain every single step of the way. I’m sure I was a nightmare as a client because I was a complete novice, however they crushed it.
