With two months from signing the contract to the requested closing date I assumed there would be plenty of time to get everything done. I always had whatever was asked of me returned no more than a day after it was requested, and was assured that everything was going smoothly. The only information that I was getting was when I would call to see how everything was going or when I needed to provide a document and was assured up until two days prior to closing that everything was going fine. Yet when it came to closing time however there seemed to be endless delays (I'm told it was the underwriters) and requests for information that I had already sent or that the closing coordinators had never heard of before (again I had to call and find out what was going on). This caused a week long delay in closing and caused additional expenses that after moving to another state were stretching our budget very thin. All I got was an apology and was expected to be consoled by a promise to be reimbursed for part of but not all of the hotel bills by Trevors Team Lead Ashleigh (whom I left several messages for but never heard from again). We closed and I am happy with the Mortgage and the house but not with the service. The only word I have had from your company since the day before closing were repeated requests to complete this survey. No I would not recommend using United Home Loans to anyone and regret that it was too late in the process to use another service when all the problems started to arise.

I have to say I am very pleasantly surprised at the effectiveness of my team, Brandon and Cameron. I really expected this to be like any other big business and for me to just be a number on their list but that was not the case. If one wasn't there, the other picked up the slack and was always there for me. Great guys to work with and I will highly recommend them to anyone I know of that is buying a home through VA.

I must say that I was happily surprised by the ease at which this process was accomplished. The tracking site for the loan progress was very helpful in completing the necessary forms and supplying information to Veteran;s United.
Gail, Ryan and Bob were just outstanding. Gail was just a little sweetheart when it came to helping us.
As a borrower it is frustrating to go day by day without updates. Steve and Codi made sure this didn't happen from their end. Also with the updates Codi always did a seperate update every Friday evening letting us know where we stood as of right then. I also felt comfortable calling with questions I came up with. Some days I I felt I was bothering them. They both assured me I was not and to call any time with any problem or question.
I will definitely recommend the VA home loan to my friends.
They drug their feet in the beginning of the loan process which made the final stages come down to the wire to make the closing date. At least they displayed a sense of urgency when things got tight. towards the end.
I believe it would be useful for the costumer to get to now the underwritter's in the future.
