I am very disappointed on how the closing process was handled. Communication was extremely spotty (especially when something happened). I relied more on my realtor/attorney for questions regarding the loan rather then veterans united. There was a breakdown of communication on closing week. I thought I had to have cash to close in hand (CASH) when in reality I needed a cashiers check. They did not tell me I had to have sufficient funds in my account to close (Had it in cash) which put a 2 day delay on closing and my week became a mess. It also turned out there was some kind of miscalculation on the closing disclosure resulting in closing costs going from $3,300ish dollars to $680ish dollars (Great). But if it was done correctly the first time, we would have been able to close (without the 2 day delay) because those funds were readily available in my account.
