We switched to a local branch and regretted it. The service wasn't the same. Our previous loan officer (Sam Yoo) would take the time to break things down in ways we could understand (lay terms). There was little personability and people skills. We were lost in the home buying process. The service Mr. Yoo and his team provided was top notch. We asked to switch back to our previous loan officer at the national branch. Mr. Yoo's team is amazing and functions together. The communication structure of his team was open and provided us confidence as consumers. We were extremely comfortable as every member of Mr. Yoo's team was competent. Without his leadership, the home buying process would not have functioned properly for us. The website and portal take you through every step you are in as you go through the home buying process. The task feature helps you stay on task as far as what you need to do next in the home buying process. The instructions provided in the portal were clear and easy to understand and follow. Mr. Yoo and his team were very helpful, supportive, and made us confident in the home buying process because they were rooting for us. A lot of apprehension about the home buying process faded away because Mr. Yoo and his team were so helpful. We feel Veterans United does everything they can to help veterans get into their homes.
Malachi and his team were amazing and made my home buying experience so much easier and more enjoyable. They were always readily available to assist me in any way. They also answered all my questions.

I had originally called Moya Brown with concerns about a concern with some emails I had received that felt a little sketchy to me. During that call, she asked if I had looked at refinancing my home loan. I hadn't even thought about it. She did some checking, and to my immense pleasure few weeks later I was able to close on the refi with 2.875% change on my loan and a savings of over $200 a month. Her whole team was exemplary and very helpful. Moya didn't have to say anything and let me stay at the interest rate I was at, but she went the extra mile and helped me immensely.

I was nervous to initially check it out, there was always an one excuse or another not to do it. My credit is not the very best but it is decent and it really has to be. Don't expect them to be able to accomplish a un realistic home loan. Be honest with Veterans United and the team assigned to you but more importantly be honest with yourself. Don't expect miracles, know your budget, be prepared, be proactive and most importantly be patient and respond to their request immediately. It's your loan after-all even though you'll feel like the team is only working on your loan, keep in mind they are also working on others and their loans but their response to your concerns are still their highest priority. Even by email which in some cases are at odd late / early morning hours. Just shows you they are definitely working on your behalf to give you their very best effort to make your loan happen. If your expectations are realistic and your honestly expecting a good experience you'll be satisfied. Unless your assigned Loan specialist team is Logan and his team then good won't be "good enough" of a rating you'll actually recieve an excellent experience. Also would like to say to you all that Logan's team includes a beautiful coordinator/specialist named Taylor working on your loan and she is a Rockstar, I give Taylor 100 stars as she is fantastic in all areas as well. If I had to do it again I'd request and not quit requesting for Logan and Taylor to be assigned to accomplish my loan package that's how great they are.
Logan and team made me the happiest new home owner i could be and like I stated above they are what makes the Veterans United Home Loan experience stand out among the rest.
