I had a great experience from start to finish with VU. To be honest, I had tried using them 5 years ago and I went with another lender back then. However, I’m glad I gave them another chance for this new purchase! I was able to complete almost everything through their app, the POCs were extremely responsive and always willing to call, their rates were competitive with all the big banks, and most importantly they remained flexible with all the ups and downs of home buying. Great rates! My closing company said my rate was the lowest they had seen. Very friendly and courteous staff. Although I didn’t really need it, the concierge service is great to offer as well to help with finding local utilities and services. My loan officer Dustin kept me informed and was always available and quick to return calls.
The “To Do” list is easy to use to upload documents.

Overall the picture to closing was amply laid out by the team at Veterans United. At times I felt I could be doing more but my team had it already completed.
