The whole team at VU and Vylla Homes

I have understood for all these many years (54 years) that my Active Duty For Training, US Army Reserve, and Connecticut National Guard service would NEVER qualify me for a VA home loan. On a “what have I got to loose” fishing expedition June 2020, I set up a Veterans United account. In discussions I was told the rules had changed. I found that hard to believe! Well the rules may have changed, but with COVID and whatever else my full service records could not be found. After two years I gave up, but Taylyn on Rachel Bruce’s team did not. When Taylyn told me in February 2023 that my VA Certificate Of Eligibility (COE) was just issued- I could not believe it.
Yesterday my wife and I signed a million papers and the Attorney moved multiple thousands of dollars in multiple directions. Today Erika, our Realtor handed us the key to our home. Because of the dogged persistence of Taylyn there is a new key on my key ring today. I praise and thank (GOD - יְהוָה) for VU - Taylyn, Rachel, Stephanie, Jason, and our Realtor Erika, and I thank you ALL.

Veterans United made my process easy and helped me with everything/anything. I will be using them for any home purchase throughout my life!

Buying this house was so easy and I still can’t believe it was possible. The entire team that worked on our loan was amazing. I truly believe communication is the key to great customer service and we had great communication with everyone. I want to thank everyone who helped me and my family make this move possible. I will highly recommend the team we worked with to any veteran looking to buy a house. Again, thank you so much.

The team at Veterans United made our home processing smooth and painless. Being over seas while purchasing our first home I thought will be difficult, but thanks to Billy and his professionalism it was an awesome experience. Thank you for service!

Travis and Greg were amazing throughout the entire LONG process. Were always available and ready to answer any and all questions we had! So very thankful for those two!

I was not very comfortable with the electronic media of completing request for information. This discomfort was not with platform used but the changes in names during the process increased my distrust of the company initially. With in this cyber vulnerable environment consistency with whom you work with helps decrease suspicions.

Overall, my experience with Veterans United was not smooth and rather frustrating. I will be refinancing in the near future and they will not be my lenders.
Response from Veterans United
Katreese,
I’m really sorry the communication from your team came up short. Our Client Advocate team is looking into this for any follow-up coaching opportunities we can share with your team and our training managers. You’ll have a voicemail from Dave with his direct extension if you’d like to discuss anything else from your experience with us. We’re here to make this better however we can. Thank you for letting us serve you all the same.
Sincerely,
Kendra, Client Relations
Thank you Tim and team.
