Thank you for helping me and my fellow service member through the Home buying process. There are many obstacles which were mole hills with help from the veterans united.

My only recommendation would be for Veterans United to not lock the closing disclosure documents on the day of signing. We noticed in the evening of the signing that the documents were locked and we wanted to review them before the signing. Aside from that, all was very good.

I am not given to gushing over people who do their job well. Victoria was great. Thomas worked hard. The Veterans united team got it done efficiently and effectively.

Appreciate the assistance through the process.

They are really there for you with every step of the buying process.

Problems arose and we figured them out as a team. Ty helped me out when he probably didn’t need to and was there for me when I was getting frustrated and only had him to talk to. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, I’ll definitely be using VU again.

Each step was well defined and I felt that my team was there for me every step of the way.

I feel that Rob and his team done an outstanding job on my refi .

The title company screwed up multiple things and Aimee ran it all to ground to fix every issue that popped up!

I just want to warn anyone working with Matthew Perona in the future that he is not who he seems. This guy genuinely scared me, and he gives off sociopathic vibes.
I'll try to keep a story short, but he messed up my closing, which I found out about less than 24 hours before. I warned him 2-3 times that my wife wouldn't be there for closing, and he denied that I ever told him. Then, when my real estate agent fixed it, by mostly putting work on my wife who was out of state, Matthew took the credit. Finally, a few days after closing, Matthew called me to mention a survey that would be coming up, making sure to tell me it's very important that he gets a 10 because his supervisor will see it. Then he asked me if I was going to give him a 10, haha. I told him no, and then he proceeded to argue with me. Matthew stated that I never told him about my wife being out of town during closing, and that the loan and closing process doesn't matter as long as we did manage to close - since that's the end product. After a few minutes off arguing with him over this 10 he was demanding, he called me a liar a couple more times, and I told him I was done, then hung up. Soon after I receive a long text from him, further claiming that he did nothing wrong and he deserves that 10.
I was actually going to let his screw-up slip, and despite him causing us a lot of stress and nearly missing closing, I was going to just not leave a review at all. I figured no survey is better than him getting a 6 or something. But then he showed his true character and attacked me in order to secure a 10, so I had to tell everyone.
I have never in my life dealt with someone as scary and demanding as Matthew Perona, and it's truly wild to me that he works with other people on a daily basis.

I heard horror stories about buying a house from family and coworkers, for almost a year; we dreaded buying a house because we were convinced it was a nightmare waiting to happen. At no point in the actual home buying process did we ever feel stressed, all thanks to VU. You are incredible humans beings, and works cannot adequately express how much we appreciate you.
