The entire process on my side was incredibly seamless. Mariah, Tim, and Nick were all absolutely amazing. When we ran into issues on the seller's side and lawyers gathering paperwork in a timely manner, Mariah was on top of it. I was included in all email correspondence and when I replied or would reach out to the attorney's office and get no response, Mariah would send out a second email to make sure I wasn't being ignored. My entire team couldn't have been any better. I truly adore them and the incredible effort they put forth into making my experience feel truly personal. Also, the care package they sent my family while I was sick included something for every member of my family, even my dog. Thank you again for all the hard work and dedication y'all have shown the past month.

OK, so, I have always preferred renting for the convenience, but then about a year ago I was somehow inspired to buy a home, if I could find the right now. I h ad stumbled onto VU and had contacted them with my interest in doing a VA loan, which would be my first. My best friend "sister" and I spent months trying to find one close to her house, (My mom has dementia and I am her caregiver and my friend and her family have helped me care for her and she has become part of their family) Unfortunately, they were all high priced and still a bit away distance-wise, so we kind of tabled it for another time. For anyone who doesn't think prayer works, they might want to recheck that! A mutual friend of ours owned a house literally across the street, and one day she told us that she and her husband were going to move back to TX and they decided to finally sell the house. Once my friend told her about me wanting it, she didn't even list it, instead doing a FSBO, which took out the middle man. I contacted Alec and crew to tell him I had finally found a house and he was so excited for me! He literally took care of everything and brought in Elizabeth and Blake to hold my hand through the process, which took less than a month! When they said they were going to do something, they did it and with high quality caring. They found a title company locally that also was awesome with very helpful and attentive people. They even had gotten a beautiful sign made for my craft room! It was one of the very few times in my life that I have done business with an organization/company where it was obvious these people had answered a calling to do this and genuinely loved it. They are an example of what customer care (aka service) is supposed to be like. I've been an RN for over 30 years, and a psychotherapist for over 7 years, so I know first hand the importance of making sure my clients feel taken care of. I have their phone numbers starred in my contact list, and whenever I meet a fellow Veteran wanting to purchase, Veterans United will be THE first company, and they will be the first names I give out. Somebody, please give these folks a raise, or at least a nice Christmas bonus!
Thanks for everything and Merry Christmas!

This was my first home-buying experience. My experience with Veterans United was okay. My first loan officer was hardly responsive and just didn’t seem interested in helping me buy a property. Veterans United kindly replaced them with a much more responsive agent! The next agent I worked with was much more responsive. However, there were definitely some frustrations throughout the process:1) Inaccurate estimates. I don’t know how the loan officer was more than 50% off on the tax estimate. The publicly available information i found was within 5-10% of the actual tax bill used at the closing date. This misinformation resulted in ~$300 extra per month and ultimately loss of trust.2) Double accounted for a credit. This of course resulted in a higher cash to close (again). This mistake was identified the day before closing. This is after the larger error regarding taxes was identified. It came off careless, and veterans United was only willing to compensate for some of the errors.I don’t know how much of this was directly the loan officer’s fault, but if I was leading the loan process with a client, I just feel like I would be more careful when presenting information. The purpose of this review is not to complain, but more to inform anyone going through this process that they need to be double checking these areas (at the very least) to avoid surprises.

Thank you for working with us. The entire process was stress free because each team member was engaged with us during the entire process! Thank you for all the time and effort you have put in to helping us find our first home!

Never be shy and always ask questions but most of all except all the extra moving help VU offers at the end. When you wake thinking it was all a dream you realize it really wasn’t for you were just handed the keys to your new awaited home with VU being at your side all the time.

This was an amazing buying experience and they were a big part of it. So glad this was my team and that I picked VU

The service provided by Veterans United was "over-the-top" in every aspect! As a first time home buyer I required a lot of "hand-holding" through the loan process. Thank you to Jody and Beau!

Team work makes the dream work! Our Veterans United team worked diligently to help us find the perfect home.

Veterans United was honest, efficient, and made the home buying process super easy. I’m thankful I got to work with them and look forward to doing so again.

I did not really work with Sarah so I cannot rate her also

Overall amazing experience. The team was so helpful during the whole process and made themselves available to answer any and all questions we had, which were a lot since it was our fist home buying experience, and a new build. So happy we chose to go with Veterans United.

Great work all around

I can sit back and relax when working with Jimmy and his team. All the answers to all my questions answered quickly, having everything I needed on my end easily explained, and doing all the hard work so I can focus on my own day. 10 out 10 to Veterans United and Jimmy Stranz for getting me my Second home. Also, I would highly recommend Carrie Basic as anyone's Real estate Agent. Honestly she went above and beyond to find me my home, along with making sure I had everything ready for closing. She was well prepared for any home I wanted to see and always had time to answer my questions.

I would appreciate better communication. More help with my questions. I felt like I was left outside during the whole process. Closing also took so much longer because everyone from Veterans United was asking for documents late in the afternoon, by the time I would get them what was requested it would be another day waiting to close. Very frustrating!
