A big thank you to all involved. The only area I felt was difficult was the safety portion of the appraisal process. It is way too conservative and overly protective. We are veterans who volunteered to put ourselves in harms way. We don’t need to be protected to that degree. Some of the asks by the appraiser are just deal killers, especially when buying a home as is.

I was referred to Veterans United by my daughter and son-in-law. They had recently purchased a new home and talked about how easy the process was through VU.
