Our closing was delayed several hours because of lack of attention to detail. Our last name was spelled 3 different ways in the closing documents. After notifying the closing department of the change needed, the second version was also incorrect. Third time was the charm, but 2 hours later.Other than this issue, we had a good experience, especially with Craig Carafiol.
The Veterans United team went so far above and beyond what they had to do for our family. Our team wasn't just interested in getting us a home loan they cared about us as people. For national guards and reserves, the document required are DD214 and NGBG22 for Airforce and NGB23 for Army. Hopefully, helpful for someone. Pleas have the customer request all of that when giving the pre-approval letter to speed things up.
It was my first time buying a home and I had no one to walk me through the process or teach me anything but thanks to veterans United I had an easy time going through the process and it was easy on my finances. I would highly recommend to anyone new ti buying a home.
