The whole team was extremely helpful, and made the home buying process very easy. It was nice to have everything available in one place. From the getting pre approved to actually getting approved and closing to setting up the utilities. I would use veterans united again if we end up having to move and are looking to buy another home in the future.

Going forward, I will be recommending VU and specifically Josh for everyone and anyone I encounter even mentioning their interest in buying a home. As a first time home buyer, I didnt know what I didnt know and probably even less. Josh and VU simplified and streamlined the process for this knuckle dragger and made it virtually painless. Josh was available all the time to answer any question I had, was patient and a VERY proficient communicator.VU and USAA are the gold standards (in my experience) for creating a streamlined, efficient, easy to use AND expertly staffed service. VU takes it a step further and sets the home buyer up for success better than I could have imagined. They save you money along the way, have excellent references for services, and hold your hand (in a non-invasive way) ensuring that you make the best decision possible.

The over all experience with this team was good everyone did great the only improvements I would have is a better understanding of what the person is doing. For example I was buying a manufactured home and I had stated that in the beginning but somewhere along the way it was misunderstood.


I'm very happy with the service and help I received as a first time buyer, I would use Veterines United again.



I had heard good things about Veteran's United and applied as part of an investigation into the next phase of my life. What I received in return was so much more than I ever thought would come of it. Lance was great. He knew his job. Very knowledgeable.
Our issue was with Brandon. Us, our realtor, the listing agent, Paula from title, and the sellers were very upset with him. The sellers and listing agent were so fed up with him that they put in a cure notice for him to get it together. He's made the process very frustrating. Asking for things that weren't really needed or necessary or asking for the same documents where our realotor had to resubmit several times. They got my email wrong at first so I didn't know about the well test until later on. We submitted EVERYTHING by the deadline only to have our closing date pushed back because of well testing so I submit the test but then he says he needs the results so I send results asap then he says he needs proof of treatment then that gets done only for him to then say he needs proof of payment, etc. He couldn't have just listed all of that instead of having it be one after the other is completed? On Friday, 10/13/2023, he tells me that he needs another VOE from my husband even though we had already submitted it before our deadline. Doesn't specify anything just that he needs it. So I text him back telling him it was already submitted before, no reply back, so I go ahead and search for the VOE from previous submission, and submit. On this day, I also scheduled the closing on 10/16/2023 at 9 am and scheduled the wire transfer and scheduled a uhaul for the move. AT 730 AM BEFORE THE SIGNING, I RECEIVE A TEXT FROM HIM saying that we needed a VOE dated that day because it needed to be within 10 days of closing. I asked him why he couldn't have told us that on Friday when I submitted it and his response was "I was gone for my weekend vacation already. I'm sorry." Then I told him it wasn't our fault the closing date got pushed back. We were still able to sign but my husband had to drive 2 hours back to work to use his military computer to get the VOE while I was left trying to move with the uhaul by myself while pregnant. He just made the whole process infuriating. Literally, the worst I've ever dealt with.

These people made bringing a dream to reality. I would recommend they 500%.. hands down the most friendly people you ever work with.🙏🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
