Jerry, Trenton, and Randee were amazing to work through. They made buying my first home easy and enjoyable.

I would chose Veterans United over and over and over again!!! First time buyer, refinancing, and every home purchase, Veterans United is the best!!

I have used Veterans United twice to purchase my homes. They are professional, courteous and walk you through every step of the process. I would highly recommend to all Veterans.

Veterans united has always made home buying for us very easy to comprehend and were always going to go with Veterans United.

The only semi aggravating part of the journey for us was the underwriting process. Miss Blair was great in communicating so she gets a 10/10. This is by no means a negative review for her but more so for the underwriting process. We just wish all of the Under Writer’s request could have been made up front instead of doing one thing and waiting idly for the next. It would be much easier to get a complete detailed to do list up front. I do however understand things change during the length of the process and it ain’t nothin but a thang.

Bring a first time home buyer, VU made the process enjoyable for us allowing us to learn along the way.

Thank you for all the help you gave to me and fellow veterans.

I will be honest here, my credit was not great when I started this process as I have not really owned anything major, I had some medical bill and credit card debt, and only really have still one line of credit to base information of owing and repaying off of. I had/have great rental history, but I wasn't sure if that was enough to go by. Veterans United chose to believe in me and give me this opportunity, so long as I was showing constant improvement and engagement with their agents and on time completion of documentation. I did everything I could to show that I am indeed capable of handling the challenges, and they reciprocated my efforts and helped me beyond what I expected. I thank everyone who was a part of the process so much, and I will definitely recommend the entire team to my family and friends.

Abbie, the loan coordinator was a home run for us. She answered questions and gave me updates after hours just so we gather documents in a timely manner and not hold up the process. The entire team was excellent.

While I was still shopping for a lender, the VU representative was communicative and helpful. He responded to my texts, emails and calls in a timely manner and answered my questions. He and his team told me they would match the builder’s preferred lender’s offer by covering all the closing costs. The cost estimate he provided also beat the other competitors’.After I agreed to move forward with VU, it took multiple days for him to respond to my calls/texts/emails. Sometimes he did not reply at all. At one point, when I was finally able to reach him to ask additional questions for clarification, he said that he had been “over communicative” with me. (Is that even a thing in the customer service business or when someone is making a decision to commit to hundreds of thousands of dollars over 3 decades?)He dismissed the text evidence of the agreement to cover the closing costs as was promised. Additionally, the final cost estimate was thousands of dollars more because the dollar amounts were extremely low-balled. In fact, when I got to closing, the title company’s agent looked commented that one of the line items was a standard dictated by law, and the true cost was readily accessible. She said that is not the first time she’s heard of VU doing something like that.Additionally, after I vented to my realtor, she said she too does not trust VU and has known of other clients getting bamboozled as well. I really wish she would have warned me beforehand.I will never work with VU again and have advised anyone who converses with me about real estate investing to steer clear!
Response from Veterans United
Jasmine,
I’m sorry to hear this. I want you to know you’re welcome (always) to reach back out directly to the Client Advocate you were working with previously. If you’d like to catch us up more on how things went through closing, this may help us with a potential coaching opportunity. We value your feedback and want to make every effort to help make this better if we can. I want you to know our Client Advocates will continue to be here to listen and learn more about how things went through closing, and after as well. We hope to talk with you soon.
Sincerely,
Kendra, Client Relations
This is the second time I’ve used Veteran’s United and they did go above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our loan conditions and had a successful closing. They truly care about taking care of veterans

Jon was great he helped me get my credit up over the months and when it was time to purchase a home he was very helpful and always told me how to get the answers today is now Veterans Day and I own my home thank u everyone

I had an exceptional experience with the whole Veterans United team

From the beginning to the closing, I felt like I was on V I P status. I was in the mist of a personal storm, but the whole team was genuinely concerned. I am grateful for the professionalism displayed, and the way it was communicated. I was never in the dark when it came to my next move, because I was informed at all times. Thanks for everything.
