This loan process started a year in advance as the building of the home took seemingly forever. Veterans United got as much done on the loan application as they could in the early stages to get an early approval completed. Unfortunately, some of the work we completed had to be re-accomplished because it was outdated by the time we actually closed on the house. All in all we got everything needed done, on both sides, in a timely manner. Thanks to the entire team for their help…and the gentle reminders!

Chris did an outstanding job for us. We started with one loan officer and was transferred to Chris in the middle of securing our home. There was not one hiccup (no I'm not being paid....lol). When I contacted Veterans United, I was with a different lender. My home had been built and was ready to be occupied. With the previous lender, there were some challenges in underwriting on the loan as well as tight deadlines. The first phone call to VU changed my life and gave me hope. Vishal is the epitome of a professional. He and his team worked with ease in getting things “rocking and rolling”. I don’t believe that there are many lenders who could accomplish loan approval within 30 days. Vishal and his team kept me in the loop throughout the entire process. I don’t recommend moving twice and buying two homes in two different states in a little over four months. But, Nick and his team made that difficult process as easy as it could possibly be!
Schandler was absolutely amazing from our very first conversation. The perfect house came up on the market and we had to move quickly because we didn't have financing secured and we were not pre-approved yet. Schandler worked very hard to make it happen, get our pre-approval and application done asap. I let him know from the very beginning that I was price shopping due to interest rates being so high. He not only went to bat for my family, but he secured us a great deal that other major banks were unable to beat or even match. He kept us in the loop through the entire process and his team was able to get us approved and ready to close early (unfortunately we couldn't close early due to the sellers, but VU and my family were ready!). He even touched base with us while he was on vacation celebrating a rather large, important birthday, although he did not have to, it's just the top-notch service he provides because he wants to ensure a smooth process and buyer comfort. Schandler and his team were absolutely amazing to work with and I'm so grateful we made the decision to trust Veterans United, Schandler, and Walter. It was a great experience and the easiest out of all four home purchases and a refi! Highly recommend!
