I can't say enough about the team at Veterans United. It started with the credit agent working with me to get my credit score to the right level and beyond so I could get the house I have always wanted. I started at around 600 and by following their advice and steps I was at 680 in just a few months. The loan team worked so smoothly. They coordinated and organized everything I didn't feel like I had to do anything but tell them which house I wanted. They send messages when I had a new task to do. I received several calls just to update me on what was happening and what would be happening next. They found solutions when problems came up where the realtor was always ready to give up and show me a different house when I wanted a very specific property. I feel like I haven't talked about Shelly the koan coordinator and I want to make sure she gets credit too because she was always on top of anything that needed to be done and ready to help with anything that we needed. She solved as many issues as Ross. If he wasn't available she would step in and handle the problem. I WILL NEVER USE ANYTHING BUT VETERANS UNITED TO BUY A HOUSE!!!!! Last time I bought I used USAA and I wasn't taken care of like this. I can't give enough praise to the Veterans United team.

They worked tirelessly day in and day out, going above and beyond the call of duty to get the job done and picking up the slack of others to make sure we got into our new home!! We couldn’t be happier with VU and the amazing customer service they provided! They all made us feel more like family than just customers! We would 1000% recommend them to everyone we know!! Everyone was so genuine and supportive!
Excellent work by everyone involved. If I had questions, they were answered quickly by a member of the team, all of whom were identified and introduced to me as their specific areas of responsibility came up during the process. Overall, just a great experience that helped the sellers, my real estate agent, and myself go from initial offer to closing and handing over the keys right on schedule, actually about a week ahead of schedule which was a nice bonus.

The software was also very easy to navigate and made it clear what needed to be done.Our Loan Officer was Jay Christman and we would recommend him and his team to anyone! They have built relationships and it is clear that their work went beyond closing day.
Steve, Justin and Katy specifically were awesome. I had a "not great" experience with my previous VU Loan Team, and it was great to see another side of the operation after a few years. Steve's team works great together - They were attentive to my professional at all times, and thorough in their reviews. We closed well ahead of schedule and got comparatively great numbers in a challenging fiscal environment. Highly recommend!
