When we started this process to purchase a home, we were intimidated by all the horror stories we read online. We did a lot of research on which lender to go with and who we should have as a realtor. Eventually we decided to go with Veterans United and the rest as they say is history. We couldn’t have been more humbled by the dedication and hard work Karol and her Team in Clarksville did for us. Every single person on our loan Team -from Karol to Amanda, Logan and Matt- did an amazing job through out the buying process. When they say to ask any questions we may have about the process they really mean that. They were prompt, cordial and knowledgeable on every and all questions we had. Karol and her team held our hand the entire way and I am glad to have them on our side. It would behoove you to do the same, especially if you’re a first time buyer like us. You need people like Karol, Amanda, Logan and Matt on your side.To our VU team, Clarksville edition. Thank you again for taking good care of my family through out our exciting and terrifying adventure. We are forever grateful for making our dream a reality. Wishing nothing but blessings from my family to each and every one of yours. Thank you so very much!

Amazing team, very knowledgeable and makes the process so easy.
The breaking down process was easy to understand and straightforward.

I feel they went above and beyond my expectations. Andy and I were in contact several times throughout the entire process. I have a job where I was able to call Andy or take a call from him pretty much anytime without any hassle from my boss. My boss knew of the process and und understood there would be times where I need to be on the phone during working hours, and he never had an issue with it. Andy and his team did an exceptional job taking care of me and getting this done.

Veterans United will forever be my go to when it comes to purchasing a home. They treated me like family and were always there when I had questions as a first time home buyer. Even when we had a few issues with paperwork, they worked tirelessly alongside me to get things resolved. Highly recommended to all veterans!

Just some communication issues with our loan coordinator.

I will never recommend using veterans united to anyone ever. I will be trying to refinance as soon as possible with anyone else. We purchase our first home with rough veterans united and this was not the same experience.
Response from Veterans United
Hey Crystal,
I’m really sorry to hear that this experience didn’t match the one you had with us before. Buying a home should be exciting, not frustrating, and it’s disappointing to know we missed the mark for you this time around.
I’d love for my team to understand more about what went wrong and see if there’s anything we can do to help. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us at 1-800-212-5200 or ClientAdvocate@vu.com. We’re in the office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. CST, but feel free to email anytime.

For anyone out there wanting to get a home loan through the VA, this team was the best. I had no prior knowledge of how this all worked. They made sure to hold my hand throughout the process. They made sure I understood what was going on and who I needed to work with. They let me know of any extra options I might be interested in, such as, home security systems. 10 out of 10 ratings from me.

This team made our loan process the easiest we have ever experienced. They are great folks always willing to help!

From the very beginning, the team explained everything into detail and going above and beyond to ensure I was satisfied and happy. As a new homeowner, I couldn’t have asked for a better team. They were all experts in their fields and not once did I ever feel neglected in any way.

They me feel like i had the whole team working with me. I never felt alone in the process any question I had they was on it... Ty and his team are the best... I feel like I have a new financial home..

Saying the experience was amazing is an understatement. Working with Rebecca 10 months before closing and have her there every step of the way was remarkable. Not only was she transparent but her total time was. Joycelyn and Eric, I see you both too and special shout out to you both!

I recommend every bit of the experience and excitement I've had buying my home and I hope everyone has the same experience with the clear communication I've had.

Experience first-hand why 327,903 homeowners give us a perfect score!

They made a very stressful time and experience easy! I really appreciate everything they did to work with us through complications with my husbands navy discharge to helping us move dates while we made the final stretch with our son in the ICU. I hope if we ever buy another house we can work with them again.

I highly commend Christie Thomason for her superb attention to detail and getting to know the client's (me) idiosyncrasies as she was able to immediately adjust and adapt to my needs...even during after-hours and the weekends. Promote her NOW!Kelly Givens, worked behind the scenes and just monitored Christie and my text messages. She is a "quiet" professional who just allowed her team to "work the process" and just intervened whenever the need required it.BRAVO ZULU to these two ladies.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all of your help to get the loan and for assisting us with all of the papers. It has been a pleasure to work with all of you! You will always be our go-to and we have already started to spread the word about your amazing team! Thank you all again for the great work!

All I can say is to me Veterans United is the best and would definitely recommend them

Thanks!!!

Ok, here we go. This has nothing to do with my loan team. They were great. However, as a first time home buyer, the process was incredibly traumatic and the VA should be ashamed of themselves. Veterans should never have to go through what we went through to buy a home. No one has more evidence for processes like the VA and yet they still require things that don’t exist or three explanations for the same thing on three different documents in four different ways. It’s ludicrous. We had everything required and it was still a nightmare. We lost the first house we put an offer on but get this, it was easier to qualify for $350k with no down payment and $50k in debt and no money saved than it was to get a home for $180k, no debt and money for down payment, etc. What? That makes sense. I understand now why sellers don’t want to deal with VA loans, because they are awful. Its unacceptable for options to be cut in half for veteran buyers simply due to the VA’s inability to make their processes easy and make sense. What a joke.
