The whole team was fantastic! What stood out to me the most was how communicative and helpful the team were. They were always available to answer any questions I had, and they made sure I fully understood every step of the process.
Montgomery Hill was great throughout the process about educating myself about the VA loan and the nuances of it, I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in the market of purchasing a home.
Allison and Aaron were amazing and very driven to help us get our home. They went above and beyond our expectations in communicating with us and letting us know where we were at in the process and what we needed to do next. We never felt alone or confused, they were there tohelp us every step of the way. Phil and his team at Veterans United went above and beyond to help us get to the point of the loan. Even when they knew we were not ready to get the loan they help guide us in the correct direction to fix the issues we had and make it where we could get the loan.
I highly recommend Phil and his team, they were easy to work with and willing to explain anything I had questions on along the way.
First, as a first time home buyer, I don’t know much. I would expect the lending team to guide me. And mostly I was. Though, when I asked about putting down a down payment, I was told that I do that on the day of closing and I would wire the money to the title company. I still have the text messages. When that day came, I asked the title company about the down payment, I was told it was too late and I should have notified the lender so it would reflect in the paperwork. Which made sense after I heard that. But again, being a first time home buyer…. There should have been more clarification From the lender on that.Second, for the question of if I would recommend Veterans United to friends or family, I answered Yes because I guess I have to pick one. But, I would tell whomever about my experience, good and bad, and let them decide for themselves.
Everything went smoothly. Jake was extremely helpful. The entire team made this this transition seamless.
