VU Staff/Friends/Family/Random person reading this,HOME BUYING IS STRESSFUL! The process is hard, unforgiving, and quick. One moment you can be looking at a home and the next moment it's gone and pending to someone else because you wanted to "wait" or "think about it". Take action on the venues you like and ask questions to everyone you meet along the way. I didn't know much going into my homebuying process and had to learn as I go. The team I worked with helped me through it all and gave me the knowledge to feel secure in my decisions.

Veterans United... It is difficult for me to describe my experience without tearing up. Owning a home has been a life long dream of mine and I could've never imagined the love, support, and care I received from my home buying team. Active communication is key for me and that’s exactly what I got from Stephanie and Ashley during my loan process. I was impressed that they allowed me to contact them via text vice having to call their work phones. That showed me that they were willing to always be available when I needed them. I love how VU designed their website to cater to their clients, giving them a To Do List and checklists to help with the buying process.

Jody is a straight shooter...always available, approachable, and will answer any question no matter how trivial it may seem. He gives good advice both tactical (short-term) and strategic long-term advice when dealing with the complexities of VA home ownership and refinancing as well. I specifically asked for Jody after he helped me through my first VA home loan to do my VA refinancing and I don't regret it. One of the smartest moves I have made. It has been great knowing I could count on him and his team (Abby Duley). They made this process remarkably stress-free.
