The only negative thing I have to say is that our transaction coordinator was a little scatterbrained. I don't think it's all jer fault though because we closed in between Thanksgiving and Christmas and it seemed like she had a lot on her plate. Other than that working with Veterans United has been great. After having to file a bankruptcy because of covid issues I didn't think I'd ever be able to get another house but the team at VU (particularly our realtor, Angel Perez) worked tirelessly to get me and my family into our forever home.
From what I heard was veterans United was fantastic and our experience was less than. We had issues with communication with our lending agent and had to contact his team lead just to get questions answered. Rachel king was great sometimes hard to reach but she made sure to contact us as soon as she could. I would recommend Veterans United but I will inform people how many issues we had with communication and not getting told things that needed to be done on time. Overall we got the home but I felt like we would have gotten it weeks quicker if we had the communication we needed as first time home buyers. Overall I’d give Veterans United 7/10 just get the communication you deserve.

This VA loan team was amazing! I’ve only heard bad reviews from people about them at some point in my life I don’t know when, but when I actually had to go through the process, everybody was attentive to my needs and wants. Best part is every single time I was nervous about something, they would say, “We got you. Just sit back, relax and do not stress. If something won’t work, we’ll find a way.” And that really put me at ease. The home gifts were heartfelt and meaningful, Truly appreciated it. I feel like I’ve not only made some connections with new people but they really made me feel like I was a part of a family. Everybody was great and respectful, diligent, punctual and they even go above and beyond to assist me with every single aspect of this loan and the home even if it wasn’t their part. I should say Michael also was really good at reassuring and getting me comfortable and settled during the initial process. No words can express how much I am eternally grateful, my husband and I. We hope to continue working with this Team because they were amazing and we will definitely recommend them to other Veterans. Thank You Kyle, Michael, Nate, Jaclyn! Also, i think i’ve made personal shoutouts to everybody but I wanted to say Thanks Jaclyn for bearing with me, i know we went back and forth alot with the requirements and i was almost always confused but you were real patient and I truly appreciate it!
All in all, i dont even know where i heard the bad review i cant remember but THIS WAS NOT TERRIBLE at all! In fact, it’s my first loan and I’m glad it was with them!

Chris and his team are outstanding went above and beyond to get me into a house even with all the set backs from the realtor selling a house out from underneath us to the house that didn’t pass inspection. They never gave up.
The only bad thing was Sarah Rowlings the realtor they recommended was a dishonest person and I will leave it there
