This entire experience felt like an anxiety inducing wild goose chase of one thing after another, all the way down to minutes before closing.This isnt my first VA home loan experience.
My last one went smoothly, I didn’t pay for an appraisal, I didn’t have to do earnest money, I didn’t have to provide documentation requested, only to be requested to do conference calls instead AFTER supplying it.The day of closing they changed the amount I had to have for closing costs.I’m glad I had the extra money to pay the difference, but this could have potentially ruined closing entirely.I’ve never felt so much like a bastard kid on Father’s Day in my whole life.
There was a time when i didnt think my loan was going to go through but Aaron, Alex and the crew did an amazing job for me and my family. God was truly on their side. 8 thumbs up from my familey.
Too many, many times, the closing costs changed. Made it improbable to save for it. They were friendly and helped me understand it, but it seemed ridiculous for those numbers to fluctuate thousands of dollars every few days.
