Due to our not using the builders preferred lender we had a difficult time with the builder. Although the builder offered incentives, Kelly (Loan Specialist) was able to offer us incentives that were competitive to the builders offer. Kelly was always honest, upfront, easy to speak to and seemed to appreciate us selecting VU; these are characteristics we did not get from the builders lender. Although our builder attempted to put pressure on Kelly to take shortcuts she was very knowledgeable and made sure everything was done correctly and in our best interest and as per VA (we received VA loan) guidelines. Kelly fought for us when issues did arise with the builder and went the extra mile to ensure everything was done correctly and in a timely manner. We highly recommend Kelly to anyone obtaining a home loan. Due to the service provided by Kelly we also recommend VU to anyone seeking a home loan.

If you are a veteran and looking for a great company that will help you out in any way they can VU is the way to go. We were on the fence in the beginning as to whether or not to proceed with our refinance and all of our questions and concerns were addressed quickly and efficiently.
