Failure to VU to request the VOE in a timely manner created a difficult situation the Monday after we closed. We were scheduled to meet a contractor at the property but were told to vacate the property since there was a problem with the payment being received by the title company. It cost us a day of work, valuable time in meeting with a contractor, and the travel time it takes to get to the new property form our current address. This added undue stress to what should have been a peaceful transition.
