Stay away from VU. Horrible customer service, horrible communication, disorganized process. Two separate professionals involved in the sale said that VU was the most disorganized lender they had ever worked with.

They were with us every step in the process. It took us a while to find the home that was right for us, but they were when we needed the right advice.
This was a FANTASTIC group of people! NO COMPLAINTS AT ALL! This is the third home buying experience I’ve had a part in! And this made the other two look like child’s play! The mortgage companies, banks and lawyers, in New York State real estate are sick, disgusting, legal, extortionists! HOLDING THINGS UP AND COMPLICATING EVERYTHING TO MAKE A BUCK! It took less than a month to close on our new home here in Kentucky! As it would have taken at least 2 months in New York State! DISGUSTING! None of that took place here! After our offer was excepted, I contacted my agent and asked her for the name of a real estate lawyer she would recommended, AND SHE SAID WHY? Because here in Kentucky, they don’t mess with all that crap! They do things Sooo much better then the criminals in New York State!
