I was very happy with my experience from start to finish. Through every step I felt like I had resources and support for any questions me and my wife had. Everyone I dealt with was very informative and helped me feel comfortable with my first purchase.

Working with VU has been a wonderful experience. Katie Hayes and her team are the best. From the first time I called until I settled on my home they were right there with me. I was always informed of the process and what was next. If any paperwork was needed they knew how to help get it. They even sent a list of important phone numbers in my area to help me get connected to utilities. I seriously doubt I’d be a home owner if not for VU.

As a first time homebuyer in the PNW the market was very intimidating and faced paced. At first I was worried that VU would be impersonal or slow to respond being online only. In fact it was the total opposite. My team was there whenever I needed them at any time, even though they weren’t local it’s like they were always in the same room. The online nature of VU makes everything, especially the plethora of paperwork that goes along with buying a home, very easy to deal with. Being in a National pandemic didn’t hinder the process at all, they’re very well versed in anything to do with the VA Loan process and worked excellently with my realtor and myself. I’ve already recommended VU to other veterans I know.

painful process. was without a computer, requested several items be mailed. required several reminders to have paperwork mailed. communication between your processors and insurance reps, bad.

Asked for a different RE agent because not a good fit and they responded promptly. Made everything simple. Wish actual move was this simple.

I will not recommend Veterans United because I don’t appreciate being pulled around, lied too, or snarky emails from certain team members. I hope no one has to experience what I went through.
