One thing I've not had a chance to understand just yet, is why - when I thought I would be getting back most if not all of my $1,000 earnest money - I wound up paying an EXTRA $116.33 at closing?!That is a $1,116 turn-around from where I expected to be, to where we wound up. I shall be digging a bit to see how this went upside-down.

I have heard many "horror" stories about buying and closing on a home, but I am very glad to say that is not the case with Veterans United. Aside from a small hic-up on the sellers side before closing, the entire process was very fast and more importantly, easy and stress free for me.
