Would have been nice to know that we had a closing cost. Or that we could of had it rolled into our payment. Hard for us to come up with a lump sum of cash , when you are on a fixed income from disability. Being a VA loan specialist would lead to believe that this is a reality more than not.

We had a bit of a hiccup at the closing. I did not receive the email of final documents until after I was already at the closing; therefore, the closing officer could not release the funds to the sellers until I rushed back home to execute the digital signatures that were required. Moreover, we later discovered an error in the instructions I had received regarding who should be the recipient of cashier's check for closing costs. Therefore, I had to also go back to the bank and have another cashier's check made out to the closing agent. So the final phase of the process became a bit hectic and confusing, but otherwise the process that Steven was overseeing worked very well. And I am very appreciative of his assistance throughout the process.
I am glad I went through Veterans United for my new home purchase! They treated me very well and explained the process to me from start to finish. 10/10 would definitely use VU again to buy my next home!
