The Veterans United IRRRL is outstanding with one exception... Transparency. They will not provide a draft closing disclosure until just before closing. This makes it very difficult to compare closing costs with other loaners and more importantly determine APR vs rate. I wanted to pay closing cost out of pocket and it was very frustrating to be not be able to pen down this number. Transparency is king and with this one change, I would rate them a 10 out of 10 stars. There were no hidden costs and all else was seamless.
The entire team was amazing. I truely did nothing, they handle everything for me and made the process stress free in every way.

Very happy with Steven! I had a terrible time trying to close with a competitor, USAA. After missing the closing date 3 times, I reached out to Veterans United. Steven took one look at my application and paperwork, called me the next day and said he could be ready to close in two weeks. Throughout the process Steven and his team was thorough, detailed, and transparent. Every time there was something needed, he contacted me very quickly and made himself available to discuss the expectations of various items needed for a VA home loan.After working with Steven and his team, it's clear to me I would have never closed on the property working with their competitor.
