Research what documentation is required for underwriting beforehand and make sure you have these accessible for uploading to make the process smoother. If you have W2, tax records (digital), bank account information and items like this close at hand you will save so much time when it comes time for uploading. Don’t be afraid to ask questions throughout the process before signing paperwork. Make sure you understand what the fees are and which items will need to be paid upfront before closing i.e. home inspection, appraisal, and earnest money.

If you are a veteran and are looking to purchase or refinance a home don't go anywhere else but Veterans United Home Loans and Rob Deleeuw. He and his team really care. I purchased my home and refinanced it through them, and in both instances everything went very smoothly and quickly.

Iam 55 years old and Veterans United made it possible for me to buy my first home, which i never thought would be possible. From start to finish Samantha Buckridge made me feel important and treated me with the utmost respect. She and Kat Simons answered all my questions, helped me through a couple of rough spots and got the job done. They even lowered my interest rate twice after it was originally locked in. Who does that? I would highly recommend the whole Veterans United team and i think Samantha and Kat both need a raise!!!!
