Will also say the same for Julia Ash. Both her and Shane obviously know their business. Would not hesitate in calling on either one.

Chrystal was always responsive and professional. She was available to answer any and all questions and worked tirelessly to make our closing date. She is the ultimate professional and was a pleasure to work with!

The entire process is a roller coaster. Now, this is probably due to the unique quirks in my loan overall, but Veteran's United did an excellent job in guiding me through it. My loan officers Scott and Sam were fantastic and stuck with me even when the underwriting process became a HUGE hassle. Pointers: Have your finances in order 6 months before starting your loan process; don't change jobs in that time frame; pay off all debt (obviously dependent on your exact income) 6 months prior to starting the process; and have at least 10 grand available for closing costs. This will save you a nightmare of underwriting "to-do" items that popped up like Texas water bugs in June. All in all I recommend Veterans United, it's not for everyone, but it was for me!

The reason we chose Veterans United initially was due to Darci Webster’s impeccable customer service, follow-up and the overwhelming number of VU positive reviews. From that point forward our team consisting of Ben Long, Senior Loan Officer and Kat Spellman, Transaction Coordinator immediately reached out to us to answer any questions. Our situation was that our apartment lease was ending in mid-April and our closing would require precise timing three months out. During the initial process I was dredging the paper process but to my surprise the cloud based technology website was outstanding. I simply uploaded the documents required in the “To Do List” and then saw when those items were completed on VU end. The whole process was a breeze, including a most friendly staff, always answering any concerns, returned emails, texts and phone calls extremely fast. Everything was always explained in terms that we could understand and never felt rushed. In the final stages, the closing date was held on the very day that we required. I would highly recommend Veterans United and specially Ben Long’s team if you want a professional team that is knowledgeable, trust worthy and fun to do business with. Great Job!!

Bill was awesome. Quick to answer questions and provided information I didn't even know to ask. I love the way the website is setup, gives you a "To Do" list and has all the documentation easily accessible at all times. Would definitely use them again in the future
