I was a bit apprehensive about getting a VA loan, especially with it being my first time buying a house. However, Chris’ team lives up to every expectation that I had going forward from a recommendation by my buddy. They made me feel very comfortable and were extremely knowledgeable about any topic I could come up with. I didn’t have to reintroduce myself to anyone or have to restate my intentions in searching for a home, and they weren’t super buggy when I wasn’t able to get back to them right away. All in all, I felt like they were there for me exactly when I needed them to be!
At the beginning I didn't know what to expect, but Rick and his team assured me that they would be their to help me through the process. Thank you Veterans United if I had to do it all over I wouldn't do it any different.
Be thorough in asking questions. Know what fees you're going to pay! I was misled and almost couldnt buy my house because of the "origination fee" and a few other things. They did approve me after I was denied elsewhere so for that reason they were fabulous

Our friends recommended VU to us 3 years ago. We had started the process, but was then blindsided with a two year overseas duty. When we arrived back to the US and VU just picked up where we had left off. Our VU rep, and recommended real estate agent, had us in a home before our furniture bad even arrived from overseas. I would work with Jake and veterans united again. They were all very helpful, they all worked quickly and communicated with me easily throughout the whole process.
All of the extra time and information that was needed to get this loan made me and my wife stressed and it caused a few fights along the way. I felt sick at times due to the stress. When we finally were able to close on the house i did not feel excitement only relief. Also there were times i felt we wouldn't get the house.
