This whole home buying process was a nightmare. While I understand there were issues in getting us financed, we were often treated less than the next buyer. Rodney was very unprofessional and seemed too busy for his own good. We understood that this is the "busy season" and we are not his only clients, but it was very hard to get in contact with him, and when we did he often seemed bothered. At one point we were sent another clients financing information and told to look over and sign off on it. This is unacceptable, we should not have been able to see any other person's information. Towards the end of the process, my wife called me crying after talking to Rodney, while he seems "somewhat" professional in email, he was harsh on the phone. This not only came from my wife, but our realtor and title company personnel as well. While sitting at the title company for 2.5 hours waiting for the final paperwork to be sent over (we had an appointment at 1 p.m.), the title company personnel stated that they had never had to deal with anyone so unorganized. It was embarrassing. Overall, I would not recommend Veterans United. There seems a lack of respect for the veterans the company serves, and also the knowledge of the loan preparation.

Again, I would stress communication. From my initial call with VU until actually closing on my home I felt I was the one needing to stay on top of loan details. We were initially quoted 3.85% loan and on the first round of paperwork it said 4.15%. By the time we were able to get it resolved I was told that rates had gone up and that the best they could do was 4%. This also included VU trying to put points on that rate and it was not until I called it out that it was addressed. I am frustrated that I was required to pay several thousand dollars to a company that made so many mistakes. I am very displeased that when I needed answers the day before a 9am closing that calls, messages and emails all went unanswered until well into the evening and the banks were closed and I was forced into a loan that I did not originally agree to. Juliana did a great job in communicating throughout this process. I will not be using VU in the future and will not be recommending it to any of my friends or family.

Veterans United Home Loans should be proud of every staff member that I interacted with during this process starting with the receptionist who initially took my call, through the Lighthouse advisor who immediately advised and assisted me up through Dan Kelley and Allison Pharr. Each person was honest, professional and provided great support through this process. All of my questions and concerns were answered honestly and directly. I quickly gained confidence in Dan Kelley as he led me through the process of buying this home. I'm so glad that I called Veterans United Home Loans because now I am a proud home owner of the home I wanted to buy. Thank you Dan and Allison and thank you Veterans United Home Loans. I will always be thankful to you.

From experience, I fully realize the importance of teamwork. n this quest, I was NEVER alone as Aaron, Danielle Bourke and my reaqltor were a finely meshed team. In a relatively short time while in=process each one of them were continuously staying in touch with me and covering all needed areas for a smooth and seamless outcome. What a breath of fresh air ...letting me know how much the cared!!

Amanda and Melissa made my process very smooth. I can't express enough how comfortable they made me feel and answered any questions I had at anytime. When it was time for closing the lawyer was explaining things to me I already knew because Amanda kept me informed about everything so I wouldn't be clueless about anything when it came time for closing.

Jonathan Gunnels was just an awesome realtor. He was so friendly, helpful, and informative throughout the whole process. He is always willing to go above and beyond to help us being that we are buying a home in SC and currently living in MA...out of state. I would certainly recommend Jonathan to our friends and family. He was very accommodating which our schedule and when we ere able to travel to SC to search for our home and with our closing process. I couldn't have asked for a better home buying experience.
