The process took almost 5 months - with repeated requests for documents we provided. This had us worried our personal, sensitive information was not safeguarded as the loan team could not locate documents we had already submitted. We were frustrated with the lack of communication. Email requests were multiple for one or two items, but several a day, for different items, instead of a concised list of what documents were required or requests made. It made tracking the requests of the loan team difficult. Phone calls to our representatives left us feeling rushed off the phone with questions still.


Felt well informed throughout the whole process.

We've used VU several times now and have always been impressed. This time took a lot longer than expected however and as a result, interest rates climbed high enough that it almost wasn't feasible to complete the process. This was disappointing since we weren't given a clear reason (other than people were on holiday) as to why the process wasn't as streamlined as usual. As a result, we lost out on much better rate.

I would recommend above Veterans United Home Loans; Chad Werner. Everyone was super friendly and responsive but Chad was above and beyond friendly and responsive. Chad had amazing customer service and did a wonderful job at connecting with us and our realtor at all times, many times multiple times a day.





Just a suggestion, for better customer service I find a personal introduction meaning who you are and a follow-through with post messages goes a long way.I had to count on my Loan Specialist to pick up the pieces when I didn't get a follow through that's why I rated you an 9 above. ~d
